RED - what is it about?

In the last month (or so) I’ve been working on a video-game (it’s a pain in the butt but yeah). I’m creating this post to share my idea and I’ll also tell how the demo will be.

RED was initially inspired by the Red Riding Hood, I know this may sound silly and childish but please take a minute to understand how this fairy tale will become a blood bath.

In the beginning of the game you’ll be introduced to the main character: Red. In this scene Red will be 9 years old and it shows how a wolf kills her family and ironically who prevents this wolf from killing Red is her wolf, Kira.

8 years later, you meet a hunter named Ryan while you were outside, after getting back home you notice there is blood everywhere and everything is a mess, you investigate and after doing so you hear some noises in the forest. Red hears Ryan shouting. When you help him and ask him if he’s okay he freezes staring behind you, you turn around and see a human-like shadow, but no body, the shadow attacks you and you’ll have to kill it after killing it, more “shadows” will appear. After killing all of them you help Ryan getting up because he’s wounded.

You’ll be able to play this part of the story in a demo.
